Service Description
The next course starts Tuesday, 14th April, from 10-11 am until 19th May at The Natural Sensory Nook, Windmill Shopping Village, Yapton Road, PO22 0BD. Motherhood can change you in ways you didn’t expect. For many mums, the hardest part isn’t the baby, it’s the things that change around it. You might be doing “okay” on the outside, but inside you feel different. More emotional than you expected. Less confident. A bit disconnected from yourself. Relationships might feel harder. Your head feels busy. You’re constantly giving, but don't feel fully confident in this version of yourself. Nurture to Thrive is a 6-week group programme for mums who want support with this transition, without judgment or being told how to parent. It offers a calm, supportive space to pause, reflect, and grow into this new stage of life, so you’re not just getting through the days, but starting to feel steadier and more confident in yourself. Across the programme, you’ll be supported to: - Understand your emotions and why they feel so intense at times - Make sense of your thoughts and self-doubt - Reconnect with your values and sense of self as it evolves - Build confidence and trust in yourself and your decisions - Strengthen relationships with your partner, family, and friends - Feel more grounded, emotionally resourced, and supported Many mums say the biggest relief is realising they’re not “failing” they’re growing. Nurture to Thrive is led by a qualified Coaching Psychologist with many years’ experience supporting mothers and families. The programme is grounded in psychology and shaped by research into what genuinely supports mums’ emotional wellbeing, confidence, connection, and sense of self during motherhood. Everything you’ll explore is practical, supportive, and rooted in real life, focused on the things mums actually say they’re struggling with. This isn’t about going backwards or becoming who you were before, but about supporting you to grow into who you are now with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust. This is not therapy or crisis support. It’s preventative, evidence-informed support for mums who want to thrive, not just cope, as they move forward in motherhood. Suitable for Mums with non-mobile babies.
