Nurturing Minds believes it is never too early to teach children to nurture their mental well-being. Our School programme is linked with the PSHE curriculum and is designed to improve emotional literacy, healthy mindsets and teach children emotional regulation tools through fun and engaging lessons! Sessions are offered from Reception through to the end of Year 6.

The Witterings Village Pre-School

As a pre-school setting we support children’s understanding of emotions and how to express them. We looked at ways we can support this further and got Amy from Nurturing Minds to come in for a session. The children loved it!! They throughly enjoy Amy’s well planned weekly lessons on mindfulness and learning about different emotions they may feel and how they can deal with them, I.e breathing. Amy is fantastic at engaging all the children with the use of pictures and props which they can explore. Each session is tailored to meet the needs and ages of the children within the pre-school and we would highly recommend Amy and we continue to look forward to our Monday sessions, thank you!
